- Name and scope of application:
Name – equipment for forming and wrapping chewing candies. - Purpose:
Expansion of the product line of chewing candies. - Product type and technical requirements:
The final appearance of the packaged product should be in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with dimensions (LWH) 181812 mm, with a dimensional tolerance of ± 2.5%.
The equipment capacity is not less than 400 pcs/min.
The wrapping type is “In a lock” with folding of the corners (tips) of the label to the upper surface of the product (Figure 1). The corners of the folded tips must be fixed.
As one of the wrapping materials, the use of a packaging material based on waxed
paper is considered. A printed image is placed on one side of the paper.
Characteristics of waxed paper for wrapping:
Weight 38±5 g/m3 Wax add-on 20-50%. - The supplied equipment must perform the following functions:
- Calibration of pre-extruded mass to the required size.
- Cutting of calibrated mass to specified sizes.
- Packaging of chopping mass in a ?Lock? with gluing of the folded ends of the label
- Characteristics of the candy mass supplied for wrapping:
Consistency at 30-50 °C is plastic, amenable to molding under increased mechanical
action. Mass fraction of product moisture is 3.8 (-1.0; +5.0)%.
Diameter of the strand after extrusion is variable – from 8 to 25 mm.
Number of streams – 2.
Temperature of the strand after extrusion is 30-50 oС.
? - Microclimate in the production area:
The temperature in the production area is 18-22 oС. Relative humidity in the production area is 40-48%.

General equipment requirements: - The equipment must ensure operation around the clock.
- The equipment must comply with hygiene requirements and provide easy access for personnel for cleaning and maintenance. All parts of the equipment that come into contact with products must be made of stainless steel or other materials permitted for contact with food products
- The equipment must comply with the occupational safety legislation of (including GOST 12.2.003-91), as well as fire and industrial safety regulations. All moving and rotating parts of the equipment must be equipped with protective guards in accordance with GOST 12.2.062-81, interlocks, and other safety devices.
The noise and vibration levels of the equipment must comply with the applicable technical (maximum permissible noise level at workplaces at full equipment load must not exceed 80 dB, and industrial vibration must not exceed 50 dB). - The warranty period must be at least 24 months from the date of commissioning, with a guaranteed time frame for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Supervision of installation, commissioning, personnel training, and availability of service engineers preferably proficient .
- Equipment passport and operation manual in english (two hard copies and one electronic version).
- Submission of documentation specifying the maintenance intervals for the supplied equipment, repair complexity category, as well as documentation on the presence and quantity of precious metals in the equipment.
- Provision of schematic and wiring diagrams in both hard copy and electronic format in englis. Software package in english.
- A set of wear-prone parts for two years of operation (the list to be agreed upon when signing the contract).
- with at least three levels of access control and fault diagnostics.
- Electrical connection – 220/380 V, 50 Hz.
- Uninterrupted operation of the equipment within an ambient temperature range of +5 to +50 °C.
